Okay, this time I think I got the encoding done nicely enough. The command line I used was "ffmpeg -vcodec mpeg4 -qmin 3 -qmax 12 -vb 1111k -acodec copy -trellis 2 -flags +4mv+aic -mbd rd -cmp 2 -subcmp 2 -g 300" -- multimedia people can now slap me if they want for not knowing something I should've...
